The terms of the Clearahead affiliate programme: what counts as a referral, how commission is worked out, and how and when it's paid.
These terms apply when you join the Clearahead affiliate programme, run by Clearahead Ltd. You join as an independent business or individual, not as our employee, agent or partner, and you can’t make promises on our behalf.
We approve every application ourselves and can decline one without giving a reason.
A referral is an organisation that signs up to Clearahead after following your link, or that enters your code on its Billing page before its first payment. The first affiliate to refer an organisation keeps it; a referral can’t be changed once that organisation has paid.
If you also join an organisation you referred, in any role, the referral still counts. A referral that comes from fraud, from misleading claims, or from an organisation that was already paying Clearahead doesn’t count.
You earn 25% of every invoice a referred organisation pays for a Clearahead plan, excluding VAT, for as long as it stays on a paid plan and you stay in the programme. Commission is paid in the currency the organisation pays in.
Referred organisations get 30% off their first month. On the annual plan, that’s 30% of a month’s price off their first year.
If an invoice is refunded, the commission on it is reduced to match. If we’ve already paid it, we take the difference off your next payout.
Commission is held for 30 days after each payment, then becomes due. At the start of each month we pay everything due by Wise or PayPal, to the account you gave us, once it comes to £50 or $50 or more. Smaller amounts roll over to the next month. You get an email statement with each payout.
You’re responsible for any tax on what you earn. If your payout details are wrong, tell us; we can’t resend a payment that went to the details you gave.
We keep your application and payout details to run the programme, and add your name and contact details to our CRM so we can stay in touch. Our privacy notice explains how we handle them.
We may change these terms or the commission rate with 30 days’ notice by email. Commission already earned stays at the rate it was earned at.
You can leave the programme at any time by emailing us. We can pause or end your membership on 30 days’ notice, or straight away for a breach of these terms. Commission due when you leave is paid at the next payout, except where it came from a breach.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
