Scale your company without everything running through you.
In a founder-led company, the founder’s judgement is what got you here. Past a certain size, it’s also what holds you back: you’re the only one who can close, approve or decide. Clearahead helps you see exactly where that’s true, and hand it over with a plan the whole team can see, with AJ doing the asking and the chasing.

When the founder is the bottleneck.
Nobody chooses to become the bottleneck. It happens because you’re good at the things that matter most, and because it’s quicker to do it yourself than to explain it. Then the company grows, and the queue outside your door grows with it.
-
Deals stall when you’re on holiday.
The pipeline waits for you to get back, and so does everyone working it.
-
Your team waits instead of deciding.
Heads of department bring you calls they could make, because they’re not sure what you’d want.
-
You’re busy every hour, and the goal still slips.
The urgent work finds you. The important work waits.
-
The plan lives in your head.
So does the reasoning behind it, which makes it hard for anyone else to act on.
Being founder-led isn’t the problem. Being the constraint is.
Founder-led companies move fast and keep their edge because someone with conviction makes the calls. You don’t want to lose that. What you want is for the company to keep moving when you’re not in the room.
The Theory of Constraints says a system can only go as fast as its tightest point. In a lot of growing companies, that point is a person. Saying so isn’t a criticism. “The founder is the only person who can close” is a constraint like any other: you can name it, plan moves to clear it, and watch them happen.
That’s what Clearahead does. AJ, the AI inside it, keeps asking why until you reach the real cause, then helps you plan the handover in small, visible moves, each with an owner. Because the goal, the reasoning and the evidence are written down in one place, your team can make the call you would have made.
AI makes this easier than it has ever been. The context that used to exist only in your head can now be captured as you talk, kept current as the work moves, and read by anyone who needs it. The loop is simple: set the goal, find what’s holding it back, move on it, and when it clears, find the next thing. More on the thinking in Why are you doing that?
What you get.
Real screens from the app. AJ keeps them up to date.
-
Your thinking, written down.
The goal, why it matters, what makes you believe it and how you’ll know. The context your team needs to decide without you.
-
Where it really sticks.
AJ finds the places where everything waits for you, and you put them in the order to tackle.
-
A handover everyone can see.
Each move has an owner and a date. Owners update in a sentence, so you see it happening without chasing.
-
A Monday brief, not a Monday queue.
AJ tells you what moved, what you learned and the few things that really need you. Everything else, your team has.
How you step back.
- 01
Set the goal.
Tell AJ what the company is aiming for and by when. AJ helps you say why it matters and how you’ll know you got there.
- 02
Find where it sticks.
AJ asks where things wait for you. Name it as a constraint, not a personality flaw.
- 03
Hand it over, visibly.
Plan moves with an owner and a date: write down how you run a closing call, have someone shadow you, set limits for decisions you no longer need to see.
- 04
Let the brief tell you.
Each Monday AJ shows what moved and what needs you. Over time, the list of things that need you gets shorter.

Questions.
What is a founder-led company?
One where the founder still runs the business day to day and sets its direction. Most companies under 200 people are founder-led. It’s a strength, until the founder becomes the bottleneck.
Will I lose control of the business?
No. You stay an Architect: you set the goal, confirm the constraints and make the calls AJ says need you. What changes is that everyone else can see the reasoning, so fewer things need you.
Is this a coaching programme?
No. Clearahead is software for your whole team. AJ, the AI inside it, asks the questions a good adviser would, and keeps the plan current between meetings. If you already work with a coach, invite them in: Clearahead for coaches and advisers.
Who does the updating?
The people doing the work. Each owner tells AJ what happened in a sentence or two, and AJ updates the plan. You read the result instead of chasing it.
We’ve just hired a COO. Does it help them?
Yes. It gives them the goal and your reasoning on one page from day one, and a rhythm to run the week. Clearahead for COOs and heads of growth.
How much does it cost?
One plan covers your whole company: £297 a month or £2,997 a year ($397 or $3,997). No seats to count, and a free plan for up to three people with no card. See pricing.
