Getting started

How to sign in, start your free trial, create your first Workspace, and find your way around.

Clearahead is the working space for one company Goal. Your first few minutes are simple: sign in, create a Workspace, then start your first AJ Conversation.

Sign up and start the free trial

Start with your work email. If this is a new account, Clearahead starts the free trial as soon as you first get in.

Once you are inside, the app shows how many trial days are left. Billing sits at account level, so that trial covers every Workspace on the account.

There are two ways to sign in:

  • Email sign-in link — enter your email, leave the password field blank, and send yourself a secure link.
  • Password — enter your email and password, then choose Sign in.

If you cannot remember your password, choose Forgot password? and Clearahead will email you a reset link.

Create your first Workspace

Your first Workspace is the main working area for one company Goal. If you do not have one yet, Clearahead will prompt you to create it.

Name it for the organisation, company or division you are working on. The first signed-in user to create that Workspace becomes its Owner.

Find your way around

Side menu

The Side menu is your left-hand navigation. Use it to move around the app, switch Workspace, and open Settings.

The model tree

The model tree shows the company model in one place:

  • the Goal at the top
  • Constraints underneath it, connected by the Path line
  • Moves listed under the Constraint each one addresses

The numbered circles beside Constraints show their Priority order. Click any Model item to open its Details panel.

AJ Conversation

The AJ Conversation is where you work things through with AJ. If there is no active Goal yet, the launcher starts with Define our Goal.

AJ does not change the model directly. Any change AJ suggests arrives as a Proposal, and nothing changes until a person accepts it in that conversation.

What to do next

Once your Workspace is ready, the natural next step is to set the Goal. Go to Setting your first Goal and define it before you add Constraints or Moves.

Ask AJ

“Let’s define our Goal.”

“Help me write a Goal the whole team could repeat.”

“What would make this Goal bold enough without turning it into a target?”
