AJ does an ambition check before it helps settle the wording. If the Goal sounds like “more of the same, a bit better”, AJ will challenge it once because Clearahead works best when the Goal would materially change the company, not just slightly improve the current plan. See Setting your first Goal.
Clearahead keeps a short record of why a status or due date changed, so people can understand the decision later without guessing. AJ will always ask for a brief reason before it records that change, but it does not need to be formal or long — even one word is fine if it clearly explains it.
Because AJ suggests changes; it does not silently write them into the shared model. Every change appears first as a Proposal, and nothing changes until a person explicitly accepts it. See Updating the model.
Nothing in the model changes. The Proposal is marked rejected, and AJ can then help you reword it, shrink it, or propose a better version instead.
Yes. Clearahead uses focus Constraints rather than one single Primary Constraint. Several deepest unresolved Constraints can be in focus at once, but the list should stay short or attention scatters. See Working with Constraints.
Status says what you believe about the diagnosis: is this still a hypothesis, or is it validated as a real blocker? Progress says what is happening to it in practice: no change, easing, getting worse, or removed. One tells you how sure you are; the other tells you whether the Constraint is moving.
Because a Move only makes sense when it is attached to one specific Constraint. “Seems like a good idea” is not enough; Clearahead wants the team to be explicit about what condition they think the Move could change. See Working with Moves.
Owners. Billing and team access sit at account level, so Owners can subscribe, manage billing, invite teammates, and change roles. Contributors can work in the Workspace; Read-ask-only teammates can view the model and ask AJ questions but cannot apply changes.
Yes. One account can own several Workspaces. Each Workspace has its own model and conversations, while billing still sits at account level.
Yes. Use the Conversation tabs to keep separate sessions open at the same time, for example one Catch-up and one item-specific conversation. That helps you work through different questions without mixing them into one thread.
